Misha is the host of the foreign policy podcast ‘Diplomates – a Geopolitical Chinwag’. Misha started the show in 2018 to discuss the rising tide of global authoritarianism, the struggles to protect democracy and deep dive into policy issues impacting Australia’s relationship with the world.
The top rating show attracts high-profile global leaders, democracy activists, thinkers and policy experts. Diplomates was listed in the top 20 ‘global foreign policy podcasts you must listen to’ and promoted on US political news site Politico.
As a passionate believer in restoring dignity to our politics, Misha has hosted people from across the political spectrum including former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull, Hong Kong’s mother of democracy Emily Lau, current Biden National Security Council member Laura Rosenberger and legendary US Republican political strategist Mike Murphy.
The podcast has helped me develop the values I would bring as a Labor candidate.
